Pets: Dolcetto, Freyja, Josie, Moo, Mittens, Lola, and Daffie Ever since I was young I’ve always had a strong passion for taking care of animals. My family consist of 3 Cane Corso Mastiff’s named Josie, Dolcetto and Freyja, 3 cat’s named Moo, Mittens and Lola and a Umbrella Cockatoo named Daffie. I am actively involved in AKC conformation, obedience, and various k9 protection sports with my dogs. I started working with animals while still in high school. I now have 10+ years experience in the field and plan on many more. I love my job and can’t think of anything else I’d rather be doing. I’m thrilled to be part of the Pet Vet team and hope that my skills, hard work, dedication, and all around love for animals will compliment our practice. I plan to help our team provide the highest quality health care for pet owners who love their pets as much as I do! “In this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is his dog.” ~George Graham West

Technician Assistant

I am a recent transplant to Cape Coral from Plymouth, MA. I have a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science and worked as a Medical Lab Technician for over 20 years. Upon moving to Cape Coral I enrolled in the veterinary assistance program because I have always wanted to work with animals. I was raised in a family that bred pugs, and I now have 6 dogs; 3 English Bulldogs named Daisy Murphy and Stella and 3 French Bulldogs name Beckford, Jack, and Maggie. I also have a very “understanding” husband…I am the crazy dog lady! I am happy and proud to be part of the Cape Coral Pet Vet team.
Peggy
Veterinary Receptionist

I am originally from the Augusta, GA area where I worked for a very close-knit, welcoming vet’s office for 5 years before moving to Ft. Myers, FL. While working at the previous office, I fell in love with veterinary medicine. I am blessed to have earned a position here at Cape Coral Pet Vet that provides the same level of care and compassion and that continues to fuel my love for working with animals. I live in Ft. Myers with my boyfriend, Tony and my teenage daughter, Morgan. I also I have a son, Michael, that lives in Statesboro, GA with his wife Caitlin. We share our home with three fur-babies: a dachshund named Sassy and our two kitties, Maggie and Callahan. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, sewing, and going to the beach.
